Project Rural Resilience Project (RRP)
BDC is one of the five accredited companies to provide technical assistance and support services for agricultural enterprises and young entrepreneurs to develop business plans in order to obtain funding under the Rural Resilience Project (RRP).

UCIP-IFAD finances the following categories of beneficiaries:
  • Young entrepreneurs - to access medium and long-term credits;
  • Micro-entrepreneurs (members of Savings and Loan Associations) for accessing medium-term loans;
  • Agricultural enterprises (members of Producer Associations) to access grants to strengthen cooperation between agricultural producers.
The BDC's mission within this project is to assist in developing business plans to obtain RRP financial resources through partner institutions, and to provide the necessary consultancy to applicants for business start-ups / business development during the business plan building.

Support services are provided within business plan developing, to young entrepreneurs seeking assistance through only service providers accredited by UCIP-IFAD.

Project in partnership with the East Europe Foundation
Project Name: Local civil society contributes to economic and social development of the Republic of Moldova

Client: Civil Society Organizations from 36 rural localities and young entrepreneurs from more than 40 rural localities of the Republic of Moldova, including areas of Transnistria

Contract period: 2018 - 2020

Location: Republic of Moldova, approx. 40 different localities from all over the country, including areas of Transnistria

Description of the main tasks: − development and delivery of consultancy and trainings for project beneficiaries in the following areas: launch, development and business administration; planning a business and writing a business plan; development of a social enterprise to generate sales and profit; planning and developing a Business Support Center according to local context and beneficiaries needs; Human Resources Management; Marketing and Promotion Strategy; Financial Management; Management and Leadership;
  • creation and development of 15 social enterprises aimed at creating jobs and opportunities for social and professional integration of vulnerable groups;
  • development of 10 funds to support entrepreneurship for young people in order to empower young people and their involvement in business development;
  • training and guiding 50 entrepreneurial initiatives of young people in 10 districts of the country;
  • developing 6 Business Support Centers to support the creation and development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs);
  • supporting 5 civil society organizations in the development of entrepreneurial activities involving different categories of people, including the elderly.
